Around this time of year, I have the urge to stay in and away from people… It’s been this way for a while, every time this year. I’ll leave my phone (inadvertently) away from me and just fellowship with my family and be by myself. I don’t know when it started but it’s become a tradition almost (ha!). My friends who’ve known me for a while mention that I am M.I.A during the Christmas and New Year holidays but I think it’s during all holidays. Thanksgiving and Easter. Summer, not so much but yes, most of the holidays, non-family members take the backseat (unintentionally). I wonder if I’ll ever change the habit tradition. Friends, if you’re reading this, please don’t be offended. We all have our vices, and I’m figuring mine out.
